Comments: The enzyme, which participates in the anaerobic (early cobalt insertion) adenosylcobalamin biosynthesis pathway, catalyses the conversion of cobalt-precorrin-8 to cobyrinate by methyl rearrangement. The equivalent enzyme in the aerobic pathway is EC, precorrin-8X methylmutase.
